This is one of the movies that I don’t wanna miss. Its trailer and the fact that it’s based on a true story really caught my attention. And that’s reasons that lead me to dig up some info about the movie and add a post.
The Impossible is an upcoming Spanish-produced English language movie directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. It is based n a foreign family’s experience of one of the worst natural catastrophes of all time, the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.
Warner Bro. will release the movie in Spain on October 11th this year. The distribution rights for US were pre-bought by Summit Entertainment and they had conformed December 21, 2012 will be the American release date. The World Premiere was held at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2012.
I also found out, when I read the review of IMDb, that this movie is an extremely intense one which shouldn’t be seen by anyone under 13. (more)
